Trigger Point Injections
Trigger points are tight muscle “knots” that can cause ongoing pain, tenderness, and reduced movement in the neck, shoulders, or back. Treatment may include anesthetic and/or Botox injections to relax the muscle and relieve symptoms.
Botox
Botox provides temporary relief by gently calming muscle tension. We offer a warm, judgment-free environment to smooth facial wrinkles and alleviate painful migraines, bruxism (teeth grinding/jaw clenching), and trigger points.

Appointments
We will discuss your health history as well as vaccines recommended and/or required at your destination. You will receive vaccines the same day, as applicable. I will send any needed medications electronically to your preferred pharmacy.
You will also be sent home with a folder outlining your destination, country specific health concerns and tips on safety and health.
A referral is not required to be seen for an appointment at Wildflower Travel & Wellness Clinic.
Yes, once your appointment is confirmed, a secure online questionnaire will be sent to your email. Once submitted, you do not need to download or print your answers.
No. Patient consultations typically last 30 – 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance by booking online or calling our office.
Please bring your passport as well as personal vaccine records if available.
Yes, any immunizations you choose to receive will be given during the first appointment and your vaccination record will be updated or a new record printed for you.
Some vaccines do require multiple shots (boosters) within the first few weeks/month. At the end of your first appointment, a follow-up visit will be scheduled.

Yes! Wildflower Travel & Wellness Clinic in Tucson is a CDC registered Yellow Fever vaccination site.
The clinic has an official Yellow Fever stamp that is placed inside the “yellow card.”
During your appointment, the Yellow Fever vaccine will be documented in an immunization booklet commonly known as the “yellow card.” It’s official name is the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP).
The nurse will also use an official stamp and fill the “yellow card” out completely using your name from a government issued ID.
As part of your appointment, staff will discuss recommended or required vaccines based on the country you are traveling to. Your immunization and health history are considered before providing specific recommendations and to ensure you can safely receive the vaccines.
Staff at Wildflower Travel & Wellness Clinic are specially trained to follow CDC and World Health Organization guidelines and have access to up-to-date country and region specific information to ensure you get the vaccines needed.
Yes, if you give consent, a record of any vaccines you receive will be securely sent to your medical provider’s office.
Additionally, all vaccines will be reported electronically to the Arizona State Immunization Information System (ASIIS). ASIIS is a state-wide system for reporting immunizations to ensure an electronic version of your vaccine history is always available regardless of where you receive your shots.
Prescriptions
Yes, if you are traveling to a country or region where malaria is a risk, a prescription for malaria is included in the office visit fee.
An electronic prescription will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice after your appointment.
Wildflower Travel & Wellness Clinic is not a primary care provider and cannot provide prescriptions outside of our scope of practice.
In some cases, a prescription for traveler’s diarrhea and/or high altitude sickness can be sent to your pharmacy via electronic ordering.
Payments and Cancellations
Yes, we will give estimates over the phone. Additionally, before you receive any vaccines you will be informed of the total cost of the vaccines recommended/selected.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, you may be charged a $50 fee.
We accept all credit cards including American Express and Discover and debit cards.
Cash is accepted but no cash is kept on premises. If you will be paying with cash and will need change, please notify us ahead of time.
Wildflower Travel and Wellness Clinic is out of network for all insurance companies. Pay for services and good received must be rendered at the time of your appointment. However, travel vaccines are typically a valid expense for use of HSA funds.
Yes, at the end of your appointment, you will receive an itemized invoice, also known as a Superbill, showing insurance codes and charges you paid. If you choose, you can send this to your health plan and sometimes it will apply to your deductible or you may receive a refund from your insurance plan.
